Life Long Learning habits- WEEK ONE

Learning is defined as acquiring a new skill or knowledge.

I just finished the tutorial "71/2 habits of highly successful lifelong-learners".
From it, I have learnt that life long learning is a continuum of the learning process that takes place at all levels and all formats, formal, informal, non-formal.Its is never too soon nor too late to learn.

And also,
The Habits of successful lifelong-learners

1.Begin with the end in mind
Determine what your goal will be,then you can develop a plan and achieve your goal.

2. Accept responsibility for your own learning.
No one has as much invested in your learning as you.

3. View problems as challenges.
A sucessful lifelong-learner views every obstacle as a learning opportunity.

4. Have confidence in yourself as a competent, effective learner.
Don't say it or think it unless you want it to be true.

5. Create your own learning toolbox.
Lifelong-learners have their own toolkit too.(eg.books,classes,friends. etc.)

6. Use technology to your advantage.
Use technology to help you in your learning.

7. Teach/mentor others.
The best way to learn something is to teach it to someone.

7½. Play
Is actually one of the most important habits.
